Clothing Style::

Bellatrix has a unique sense of style that has somehow survived through the years. Having spent years in Azkaban in the same shabby robes it is amazing that she still maintains quality dress sense at all. When she was younger Bellatrix was known for wearing colours of black, green and occasionally a blood red although she was once known for wearing a gold gown. She has beautiful robes even now and now she has a chance to restore her beauty she chooses to wear clothes that enhance it.

She usually wears figure hugging clothes that show off her form and those robes are usually black. She also has some of her old dresses which she can still fit into thanks to her being so thin. She doesn't wear high heels unless it is a really special occasion. She wears a lot of jewellry which makes her resemble her old self.

Basic Appearance::

She has a soft clear complexion which brings out her dark hair and her equally dark eyes which are as heavy lidded as they are dark. She has thin eyebrows and delicate cheekbones and she has a delicate frame although this is rather deceiving as she is quite strong. She has a strong chin and small petite lips that seem to pout whenever she doesn't get her own way or when she's seducing someone. Bellatrix has dark brown hair that runs down her back as straight as silk. She usually wears it down although for special occasions she wears it up to reveal her beautiful creamy face. She keeps it in good shape and it runs straight down to her waist when fully straightened. When it isn't it only goes to the small of her back. At the moment her hair is quite tousled and most of her beauty has been taken.

Bellatrix is one of the most narcissic, arrogant, narrow minded people you will ever meet. She has a rather horrific streak when it comes to the way she treats muggle borns and half bloods. Her views of wizarding purity are extremely aristocratic and extreme. She has a severe view of wizarding class and will not associate with anyone 'unworthy'. She has a sense of pride that is almost impossible to dent. She has a strong sense of loyalty to her family and she will do all she can to protect her family from the hallow gossips of the press and the qizarding world. She is loyal to her parents and obedient. She has been taught to respect everything she has been told and she is trusting that her parents have brought her up right.

She is completely dark and obsessed with power, the dark arts and above all else the Dark Lord. She is a dedicated follower of the works of Salazar Slytherin and is obedient to her family' wishes. In some ways her dedication to the Dark Arts is rather sick and twisted bordering on insane. In fact her actions regarding the Dark Arts have been known to take on a sinister nature. In fact Bellatrix can often end up in such a mood that she seems to go beyond the boundaries of sanity itself. She has been known to frighten people by hexing them or merely staring at them. Her dark eyes make her seem like an unhinged character. Which in some ways you could say she is.

She is extremely harsh in her words and she has a strong tendency to curse anyone who really angers her. Yes this gets her into trouble but the fact is that Bellatrix simply struggles to contain her temper. She may not explode with rage each time but she will eventually avenge herself against any who have done her wrong. She is unholy selfish and she doesn't care who she has to push out the way or how hard she has to knock them down or what she has to do to make sure she ends up on top. In some ways Bellatrix is very desperate and so she is a manipulative ambitious rather pregnant dogy character. She has earned the title pregnant dog but this is well deserved especially if you saw how she treated those around her. She knows how to play people the right way. She gets close to those she needs so she can play them like puppets.

She was a Daddy's Girl and she was closer to her father rather than her mother. She is close to her youngest sister Narcissa rather than her other sister Andromeda. When it comes to men and money however Bellatrix knows how to charm a guy into giving into her demands and she flaunts her sexuality loosley only to those who she can use. She does not go around sleeping with everyone although she likes people to think she does. She has a strong ego and this causes problems for her friends though she neither notices or cares. She is a very sadistic person when it comes to relationships. For as much as she uses people it is rare for her to like them that much. Or care about them after she has used them as a matter of fact.

Bellatrix's loyalty to the Dark Lord is unwavering. Even though she is still at school Bellatrix revers the Dark Lord and wants nothing more than to be at his side...his most faifthful. When it comes to the Dark Lord Bellatrix is almost blind to anything else. She is a strong willed woman with a dedicated nature. She has a new lease of her life whenever she thinks about him. She becomes most dangerous whenever she has the Dark Lord in her thoughts. Anyone who tries to change her opinion of him has it coming to them. Bellatrix in clinically insane when it comes to the Dark Lord.

History::

The Blacks have been a pureblood family for many yers and their origins stretch back to the ffteenth century and possibly before that. They have no record of muggles in their family which possibly means that they went by another name before the fifeenth century. All the generations of their family have been strong and pure making them a rather influential and dominating family. For years the Blacks have secretly aided and abetted Dark Lords such as Grindelward and Lord Voldemort. Now that they have yet another generation of offspring the Blacks aim to place themselves in the heart of the Ministry and the heart of Lord Voldemort's inner circle. The family is ambitious and ruthless and that is how the have survived.

Bellatrix was born a week early in the Black Manor on 11th January. She was a strong child from the start and she was very healthy despite beng born a little prematurely. Her father doted on her lavishing a large nursery and an intelligent and famous wizarding scholar to read to her as a child. Although Mr Black himself read her her bedtime stories. All this was done in the hope that Bellatrix would become smarter than other wizarding children. It was also a good sign of beeding and as she was the eldest child and a daughter to the Black family she would have to marry well to sustain a strong reputation for the Black family. Her parents began to hunt down suitors preparing for when Bellatrix was older. Bellatrix accepted this as a Black child should. She understood the value of her parents help.

During her childhood Bellatrix was educated at home and was soon versed in Wizarding Literature, Arts and all the Pureblood Culture that came with the territory of being a Black. She was an eager child and she learned several languages including French, Spanish and Italian. Her parents were immensely pleased with er upbrining. It was an extraordinry achievement for a child so young to learn so much. Her father tried to push for Bellatrix to enter Hogwarts early but Dumbledore wasn't having it. Meanwhile Bellatrix was learning to share her parents attention with her two sisters. Andromeda, whom Bellatrix used to bully although sometimes she could be civil, and Narcissa whom Bellatrix adored and treated like a doll. Bellatrix fell out with Andromeda completely later when she realised her sister would never follow her example.

Bellatrix headed off to Hogwarts when she was 11. She quickly made frinds with the purebloods on the train like the Malfoys and the Lestranges. Initially Bellatrix didn't like Lucius or Rodolphus but she soon impressed them with her intelligence and her general cunning. She was sorted into Slytherin and soon strived to be top of the class to show the students around her what real pure blood wizards and witches could do. She passed her exams year after year and finally when it came to her OWLs she studied hard and acheived Os in almost all her exas with Es in the rest. Bellatrix did study but most of the time she wasn't studying was spent on chatting to her friends, gossiping about the muggle borns and half bloods, discussing the rise of the Dark Lord and having relations with boys. Bellatrix wasn't a very *friendly* person she didn't sleep with any boys because she didn't think they were good enough for her. But she enjoyed using her feminine wiles over them.

Bellatrix's exams results through the year were excellent despite her reckless attitude. She has good relations with her Head of House and some of her teachers. To them Bellatrix was a hard working student and to her friends Bellatrix became the hard faced pregnant dog who would curse you as soon as look at you, one moment. Yet she would be found snogging your boyfriend the next. She confused people with her actions because she was taught never to be labelled as one thing whereas if she was complicated and unusual it would be hard for anyone to describe her. Bellatrix prides herself as mysterious. If there is one thing that Bellatrix learnt being in Slytherin was that if you didn't have ambition you couldn't last. That is why Bellatrix hung out with so many other popular Slytherins

Bellatrix left Hogwarts and married Rodolphus Lestrange. She became a faithful wealthy housewife and not long afterwards she joined the Dark Lord as one of the few female Death Eaters. She served Voldemort loyally and as time passed she learnt more Dark Arts and fell in love with him. But then came the night of the Prophecy when she went looking for him and found herself torturing the Longbottoms. This resulted in her spending fourteen long years in Azkaban. She was eventually broken out along with over ten other Death Eaters. She returned to the Dark Lord's service only to fail again at the Department of Mysteries.

RP Sample::

Soft footsteps down the stairway to the common room alerted the few who were still up at midnight to the presence of one Bellatrix Black who was dressed rather provocatively in a long figure hugging emerald nightgown with a soft silk black dressing gown over the top except she had it hanging by her elbows so that it showed off her soft creamy yet slightly pale shoulders. She had her dark hair tossed over her shoulders giving her the look of a dark seductress. Some of the older boys still up stared at her in shock but she didn't even spare them a second glance.

She sat down on the couch and produced a book from her dressing gown. Curses and Hexes from around the World a rather interesting read if she did say so herself. Her father had always said that Bellatrix should study this book like her life depended on it. It helped that it was interesting otherwise Bellatrix would have seen it as a chore. And she did enough chores going to school with muggle borns and half bloods. Was that not chore enough?

No matter what magical school she could go to there would always be those of lesser blood and magical ability there. The only place she could truly learn without having to suffer those inferior to her was under the study of the Dark Lord and Bellatrix was not old enough to even begin training never mind join his ranks though she desired nothing more. Instead she was to focus on her exams and prepare for her parents to finalise a possible engagement between herself and Rodolphus Lestrange.

She was rather flattered that her parents had chosen such a suitable candidate for her husband. Rodolphus was dark and cruel and he adored her. The perfect husband in her opinion. She was holding him at arms length at the moment because for now she was content with merely admiring him although she would be perfectly happy exploring him a bit more than was perhaps ladylike for a Black woman.

She heard the Slytherin common room entrance open but did not raise her eyes.
